WHY REUPHOLSTERY?

I work for a furniture retailer and see first-hand how many quality old chairs are sent to landfill.  Most are in a poor state of repair but when they are stripped back most frames are in great condition.  I am lucky enough to save these pieces of furniture, restore and reupholster them and recreate a handcrafted quality product with a positive environmental income

TRAINING

I am an AMUSF qualified upholsterer/teacher with experience running my own reupholstery business and producing new products for a high end traditional manufacturer. My passion for upholstery comes from creating unique, bespoke, statement pieces using natural materials.  I choose and keep frames that are solid and can be reimagined for todays interiors.  I aim to complement the history and origins of the furniture but also reflect my personal style
